Phito at the “Power of Digital Agriculture” panel
As part of the fair, the Ministry organised the panel “The Power of Digital Agriculture – From Field to Screen”, where the latest technological developments in agriculture were presented and discussed, with a focus on how they can improve efficiency for farmers and agribusinesses across Albania.
The fair itself brought together over 100 exhibitors across five key categories — from crops, livestock and machinery to innovation, supply chain and institutional networks. Among the distinguished guests was the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Andis Salla, alongside representatives from GIZ Albania and other key stakeholders in the sector.

Bringing Phito closer to farmers
In this context of rapid digital transformation, Phito was promoted throughout the event, highlighting its role in supporting farmers through digital agriculture tools and smart advisory services. A dedicated video was also displayed, giving farmers the opportunity to explore the application and its functionalities in an accessible and engaging way.
One of the highlights of the fair was a hands-on session with members of the Taskforce, where the team supported participants in downloading and exploring the Phito app. This direct interaction generated valuable feedback and strengthened collaboration with end-users — a reminder that the best way to make digital tools work for farmers is to listen to them first.
ATTC Fushë-Krujë: Connecting technology and the field
The delegation included Mr. Ilir Salillari, Head of the Institution, and Ms. Suela Spahiu, Head of the Seed Production Sector at the Agricultural Technology Transfer Center (ATTC) Fushë-Krujë — both members of the Phito project. Their participation underlined the important role ATTC Fushë-Krujë plays in transferring agricultural technologies and building capacity among farmers in Albania.

A fair built on scale and impact
Agriculture Days 2026 is no small event. With over 100 exhibitors, it reflects the breadth of Albania’s agricultural sector: 43% represented food, crop and livestock solutions; 31% machinery and equipment; and 20% financial institutions and international organisations. For Phito, it was the ideal stage to connect with farmers, institutions and innovators all under one roof.
From Europe to Albania, Phito continues its mission: bringing digital agriculture tools for farmers closer to the field, one interaction at a time.
