About

The epic train journey – Agriculture talks on the Nightjet

In episode 3 of #PhitoStories, we leave the kayak and the Phito Van behind and hop on a night train from Northern Italy to the Netherlands. And what happens when a group of landscape enthusiasts spends 12+ hours on a train together? We talk.

We reflect on European food production, critical infrastructure, and why small farmers so often have to fight harder just to stay in the game.

Episode 3 is a little different: no fields, no farmers. Instead, an honest conversation with the team about the challenges and opportunities in modern farming, and what drives us to work on projects like Phito.

What is Phito Stories

PhitoStories is part of the Phito project, which supports small and medium-scale farmers in making informed decisions through the Phito App.

But agriculture is more than just technology—it’s about the people, their stories, and the journey from farm to fork. Behind every meal, there are farmers, traditions, and innovations shaping the future of farming.

PhitoStories is here to share those stories. Through the Phito Radio Show and the Phito documentary series, we take you into the world of farming, where real people face real challenges. These stories inspire, inform, and deepen our understanding of how agriculture shapes our everyday lives.
