Bittersweet & Salty

The second Phito Radio show, live from our very own PHITO food festival.
Phito members sitting in the Phito Van recording an episode about the agricultural challenges of Northern Italy.

The past days, we have followed the water of the Adige River, from the torrential cascades in the mountains, via the quiet Lago di Garda, passing through the kiwi and peach orchards around Verona, into the Pianura Padana, the Po Delta, in the end arriving at our food festival close to Adria. It is a busy episode, live from our van, in the middle of a rain storm. Apart from enjoying the best fruits and other food from the area, we meet a lot of the partners in the project, as well as experts from the region.

Guests on this show are:

Phito Radio is bringing people together and explore the potential of sustainable agriculture as well as the essence of good food from Europe. Each show takes place at another wonderful location and hosts a diversity of guests and experts to talk about the area, the landscape, the soils, the food and a theme around sustainable farming in Europe.

Our recipe: a mix of chats, landscapes and food, with a pinch of inspiring guests and a spoon of music.

We challenge you: show us your local food through #phitostories, and put it on the Phito food table, so together we can discover the fruits of mother earth.
